"To make life a little better for people less fortunate than you. That's what I think a meaningful life is. One lives not just for oneself, but for one's community." - Ruth Ginsburg
Speak to Lead hosted speech and debate classes, raising $500 in proceeds, which were donated to DC Candlelighters, a cancer research organization. This donation will support their ongoing efforts to aid families affected by pediatric cancer, furthering our commitment to both youth empowerment and community impact.
The classes were led by Saisha Pal and Vaibhav Somesula over the course of six months. Their dedication to empowering youth through public speaking and debate helped create a supportive and dynamic learning environment. Through their leadership, the program not only strengthened participants' skills but also made a meaningful contribution to cancer research.
